“It makes sense. You’re feeling guilty because this was never the kind of mom you wanted to be…
What if you could be the mom who is present with her kids without performing for them? Calm enough to respond instead of react — not because she’s gotten better at white-knuckling it, but because the part of her that used to take over doesn’t have to anymore.
It keeps happening. You snap, or maybe scream, you feel terrible, you apologize, and you are determined it won’t happen again… Except it does.
You’re high-achieving… right? You’ve held it together up to this point… but you’ve reached your capacity. You snap over small things and struggle to cope with the big things. Then you explode.
You immediately feel awful. It’s jarring and this doesn’t feel like you.
It isn’t you. It’s the part of you that feels unheard, hurt, or resentful.
What if we could put the calm, curious, compassionate, clear part of you in charge, instead?
Let’s get to the root of things together so that you can finally move past this pattern and learn to respond instead of react.
-
Access the pattern, not just the story: Guided hypnosis helps you reach the place where the perfectionism and people-pleasing took root — past the part of your mind that’s already analyzed this to death. Once we address the root, you get to decide how you want to respond instead, in a way that’s more in alignment with the kind of mom you want to be.
-
Meet the Part of you that yells: The overwhelmed, panicked part of you isn’t the enemy — she’s been trying to protect you. Parts work helps you relate to it differently, so it stops needing to take over. You can relax, trusting yourself to act from the Adult Self.
-
Tools for the actual moment: Real, practical tools for self-regulation. Learn what situations make you most vulnerable to getting angry, so that you can intervene earlier with coping tools that align with the kind of person and mom you want to be.

Diana — Former ClientCommon Questions
Isn’t this just therapy?
1
No. Coaching focuses on present and future patterns, behavior change, and practical tools. It’s not a diagnosis or treatment for mental health conditions, and it’s not a replacement for therapy if you’re already working with someone.
I’ve never done any sort of mental health treatment. Is this a good place to start?
2
Yes! Coaching is a great entry point for learning the ropes of mental health coping skills.
Do I have to come in person?
3
No. As of right now all sessions are virtual, which means you can join from anywhere. No need to drive over Red Mountain or Lizard Head. This work is fully accessible from Ridgway, Ouray, Telluride, Montrose, Durango, or wherever you’re based.
What if I need to have my child with me?
4
I totally get it. Moms often come to sessions with a baby on their boob or kids screaming in the background. While I would love for you to have a distraction free, comfortable, quiet space for the majority of our sessions I know that will not always be possible. We will be flexible and make the most of our time. That being said, I encourage you to get creative and give yourself permission to create a space where you can fully receive.
