Meet Sara
Hey there, I'm Sara. If you found your way here, there's a good chance something in your life has felt like too much to carry alone — becoming a mom, moving through grief, burning out, losing touch with who you are outside of taking care of everyone else.
I started this work because of my own mom. I lost her to suicide when I was 15, and it shaped how I understand what happens when women, especially mothers, don't have a safe place to be honest about what they're struggling with. I've spent my career since trying to make sure other women, and especially moms, have that space. Somewhere to be curious about their own experience instead of judged for it.
I'm not a mother myself. I'm child-free by choice, partly because I manage my own mental health and know my limits, and that choice is part of why this work matters so much to me. I've spent the last two and a half years working with hundreds of moms through Prospera Mental Health, with a specialty in postpartum rage, and I come to that work without comparison or assumptions about what motherhood should look like. If having a coach who's also a parent matters to you, I'm always glad to connect you with a colleague through Prospera who shares that experience.
What I want most for the women I work with, mothers or not, is for them to stop earning their worth through how much they can hold. I help with perfectionism, people-pleasing, burnout, and the kind of emotional overwhelm that comes from years of putting everyone else first. My approach blends nervous system regulation, mindfulness, parts work, and evidence-based tools like CBT, and I hold an ICF PCC credential with over 6 years of experience doing this work. But honestly, the credentials are just the structure. The work itself is about helping you feel safe enough in yourself to come home to who you actually are.
Outside of coaching, I call Southwest Colorado home. You'll usually find me reading, outside somewhere, or hanging out with my goofball dog, Hera. I care a lot about positive psychology, human rights, and figuring out what actually helps people change in ways that last.
I'm grateful every time someone trusts me with this part of their life. It means more than I can say, and I'd love to meet you.
The power for creating a better future is contained in the present moment: You create a good future by creating a good present.
