No one gets a blue print for how to be a “good mom.”

Especially if you grew up in a household where emotion regulation and therapy were taboo topics… it makes sense that you’re snapping at your kids. Maybe that’s the only way you’ve ever experienced parenting.

But have you ever stopped to ask: What kind of parent do you want to be instead?

It keeps happening. You snap, or maybe scream, you feel terrible, you apologize, and you are determined it won’t happen again… Except it does.

Did you grow up in a household where clear, calm, and curious conversations happened regularly?

Did your parents ask how you felt after a fight? Were you allowed to experience emotions?

Me neither.

Our parents loved us AND they didn’t have the skillsets — emotion regulation, mindfulness, and positive self-belief — that many parents today want to teach their kids. The moms I work with all say the same thing: “I don’t want my kids to have an angry mom.”

I have good news. The anger is here to tell us something: It’s the parts of you that feel unheard, hurt, or resentful. The parts that have unmet needs: recognition, rest, and real support.

Life (and parenting!) can be really hard. Especially when you didn’t have the best model for how to “adult".

Your Adult Self is fully in charge of your life and how you respond. We just have to remind you of what that feels like.

Begin Where You Are (weeks 1-2):

  • 90 Minute Deep Dive Intake - Get clear on your intentions for our work together.

  • Create a personalized roadmap so you know where we’re going and how we’ll measure success.

  • 1 75 Minute Session Weekly - Starting in Week Two

  • Alternate between traditional coaching sessions and hypnosis sessions. Get used to working in trance, and tap into the brilliance of your subconscious to identify the best and most efficient path forward.

Adult in The Room

Identifying & Working With Triggers (weeks 3-7):

  • Get to better understand your personal triggers and the underlying themes like overstimulation, feeling unheard, or lack of support.

  • Create your real-time emotion regulation toolkit. We’ll figure out what really works for you in the moments where you feel out of control.

  • Anchor in your Adult Self and let your system know there has always been a trustworthy leader in charge. Begin noticing how your life changes when you are anchored in this energy.

The Process of Becoming (weeks 8-12):

  • Heal deeply painful experiences and bring resolution to past relationships or situations which have unfinished business using hypnosis.

  • You’ll be guided through Hypnosis for Anger and Stress Management, overall Wellness and Energy and Confidence. These sessions will allow the practices to land fully in your nervous system, creating lasting change.

  • Cultivate habits by having accountability. Ensure sustainability and stability. Create a plan for maintaining practices.

  • Decide whether you are feeling complete in our work or if you’d like ongoing support.

Included:

  • Sessions available as early as next week.

  • Optional recordings of our calls if you would like to review them at a later date. Only you or I would see these recordings unless otherwise explicitly stated.

  • Voice memo/text support via Voxer, replies within 24 hours Monday - Friday.

  • Progress tracker based on PROMIS anger scale.

  • Additional resources and referrals are available and will be shared during session as they become relevant.

Client Love

"I truly believe that the ability to reframe thoughts and catch my rage are attributed to our work together and will forever change my relationship with myself and my family."

— Hannah, Former Client

"Sara Moles got me out of my own way. Not through strategy, not through willpower. Through being genuinely, skillfully guided into my own subconscious by someone who knew exactly what she was doing."

— Stacy Braiuca, MSW, MPH, LCSW, CTMH, NPT-C® Certified Master Practitioner of NLP, MER®, and Hypnosis

“I started working with Sara when I was coasting — steady on the surface, but burnt out and running on a pace I couldn't sustain. Her blend of hypnosis and coaching keeps helping me see exactly where I've been unclear or not ready to step toward the freedom and balance I desire (and need) — and turns that clarity into real action steps that create lasting change. But what stays with me most is how she helps me connect to my grief in ways I couldn't on my own, reminding me of my own safety and who I am now. Sara is real, grounded, and pushes you past discomfort into seeing yourself differently, in the best possible way. I always look forward to our sessions. If you're ready to access the deeper layers of what you want and who you are, Sara will meet you there.”

Common Questions

Isn’t this just therapy?

1

No. Coaching focuses on present and future patterns, behavior change, and practical tools. It’s not a diagnosis or treatment for mental health conditions, and it’s not a replacement for therapy if you’re already working with someone.

I’ve never done any sort of mental health treatment. Is this a good place to start?

2

Yes! Coaching is a great entry point for learning the ropes of mental health coping skills.

Do I have to come in person?

3

No. As of right now all sessions are virtual, which means you can join from anywhere. No need to drive over Red Mountain or Lizard Head. This work is fully accessible from Ridgway, Ouray, Telluride, Montrose, Durango, or wherever you’re based.

What if I need to have my child with me?

I totally get it. Moms often come to our calls with their kiddos. While I would love for you to have a distraction free, comfortable, quiet space for the majority of our sessions, I know that will not always be possible. We will be flexible and make the most of our time. That being said, I encourage you to get creative and give yourself permission to create a space where you can fully receive. We can discuss planning hypnosis sessions ahead of time for when you have childcare.

You can be the mom you want to be.

A free 45-minute consult is the first step — no pressure, just a conversation about what’s been happening and whether this is the right fit. If it’s not, my goal is to make sure you’re connected with resources or referrals.
